I wake to the sound of the roosters. The sheets are softly crowding my head. Moving them aside breath comes fresh, arms stretch, the fascia gives. On standing my feet ask for more time before stepping to allow myself to arrive onto the ground.  then as I feel my weight make contact I move forward and my day begins.

__________

Shake yourself out. All over. Hands and arms, neck and head, back and shoulders, hips and legs. And The whole of you altogether. Shake it. Wiggle it. How can one freer? How can I be more fluid? And then allow yourself to rest in the aftermath. Give yourself all the time that is asked for. Is anything still resonating?
